A Little Snoopin’

Hey Gals!  Are y’all ready to do a little snoopin’???   Here are a few vignettes I am constantly tweaking.  I’m having the hardest time getting things the way I feel they should look!  Do you ever feel that way with your house?

And Houston, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!

TIME is another thing I never have enough of!!!!!  STILL NO DRAPES HAVE BEEN HUNG AND STILL NO PICTURES ARE HANGING ON MY WALLS!!!!!!

That’s why I can’t show you whole rooms, yet!  But this problem shall pass and soon I will have a finished home to show you…until then you will have to be happy with VIGNETTE TWEAKING…. ;)

Hope you enjoy!

I ordered these cute little picture frames from etsy…had no idea where I would put them…hanging on the topiaries looked good to me ;)

DSC08637 New rug came from Marshalls.

DSC08649 I declare….notice the music fixin’ to fall off the stand in the corner…you would think I would have fixed that before I took this picture!!!  This room is waiting on a desk…and pictures and drapes!!!!

DSC08451 Loving the granite and backsplash!  So much easier to take care of then the black I had before!

DSC08585 A new rooster lamp!  HAD to have him!!!  Got him for a song too!

DSC08653 I’m never satisfied with this table! Tomorrow it will look different…lol ;)

DSC08656 The soap and lotion in the guest bath came from  big lots!   I have seen similar on line…at a place we all love to drool over….and they are waaay more then what I paid at big lots.

Y’all feel free to snoop all ya want!  ;)

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! They really make my days! And they keep me motivated…lol ;)

Linking up with Kim at Savvy Southern Style for Wow Us Wednesday.  If your in need for some inspiration go over there and enjoy!!!!

Love it Nancy! Your house always makes me want to redo my entire home!!!

I hope you'll come over and visit me at my new home. I moved from blogspot to Wordpress.

I'm sure it takes time, Nancy! When we move I'm hoping to be able to use my current window treatments and pictures in the new place. Since we are downsizing, I should have enough to choose from! Have you checked JC Penney online? Sometimes they have some great online deals. Also, Ballard Designs. I think I saw some drapes in their Estate Sale section last week.

Nancy, I loved "snooping" around your house. I know what you mean about some places in the house that need tweaking. My 1980 fireplace mantel is one. It's poorly designed and difficult to decorate. I really need to get a carpenter in to do something with it. In the meantime I still keep hoping something new placed on it will magically change it from a frog to a prince...yeah, right.
Love your rug and leather chair and ottoman, also your bath. Great bottles.
Thanks for letting me snoop around,

I can't believe how pulled together your new house is! I had boxes sittin' around for I can't tell you how long! LOL! Everything looks gorgeous. And I love your new rug!

There you are! I was wondering when we'd get to peep inside your new home. I love all of your pretty vignettes! You've got the touch, Nancy, and I can't wait to see more.

You're creating a very pretty home. Of course you had to have that rooster lamp! I found one at Home Goods several years ago and tried to get my friend and next my daughter to buy it. I ended up buying it and have loved it. It was meant for me.When I changed colors in my kitchen, I made a new shade and the rooster lamp goes on. Yours is really smashing.

You are brave to show your new home before everything is all done. One of the things we hated when we moved into our house was that everyone expected the grand tour, including a peek in our closets and attic, the day or the first week we moved in. As you know, you don't want people looking at your house before you unpack!

Your home looks great. I love, love the rooster lamp and the tall rabbit! Keep up the great work!

Hi girl! I just came by to look at your pretty house again. Looks like I didn't leave a message the first time....that wasn't very polite. Sorry. I miss you! Want to see more of your talent. :)
