Wolf Creek Way

Hey y’all!  Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

I want to first THANK everyone that came by and welcomed me back!  I wasn’t sure if y’all had left me on your blog rolls or not! So THANK YOU for all the welcomes!!!

As I told you in the last post We’ve Moved!  Lots of reasons why! But, I’m glad we did!!!  We downsized!  We went from 4500 sq ft to 2500 sq ft!!!  I had to get rid of LOTS of stuff!!!  Whew! the last few weeks have NOT been fun!

After going through closets, drawers, storage rooms…etc….I didn’t think I would EVER want any more decorations!!!!  NO MORE…I said!!  We had 2 BIG garage sales!!!  Sold lots of furniture on craigs list …..so when we downsized we DOWNSIZED everything!  Living a SIMPLE….LESS is MORE life!  And, I’m loving it!  Cleaning goes so much easier and faster!  And, if I ever move again….things should be much easier!

So with out further ado….Welcome to Wolf Creek Way…. We will tour the down stairs today.  Hope you enjoy these pics!  Most of these where taken by the realtor…..Of course I will show more of the after in days and weeks to come.

OH….. One more THANG….Please leave me any ideas you have!!!!

Hi Nancy,
Your house is beautiful!!! I mean it, it will be so gorgeous when you are finished with it.
I love that staircase and the family room fireplace, won't it be fun to decorate both of those, come Christmas.
Your kitchen is very pretty, love the granite and the shelves and the crown molding. Is it brand new? It appears to be from the photos.
Big Hugs to you, I'm so glad you're back, Cindy

I don't think you need any tips, your last home was so beautiful. I am going to enjoy seeing what you do with it. We downsized about ten years ago and got rid of tons of stuff. It was wonderful for a while, but now my house is full of stuff again!!

Lovely.
Simply beautiful.
And your pictures have highlighted the main points so well.
Love those stairs and the banister.
The steps to the back patio compliments those tiles.
All the best and have a good time.

Your new home is beautiful! I recently went from a house to a condo. I think I got rid of more than half of my "stuff". It does make you feel free not to be so encumbered. Can't wait to see how you'll decorated it!!!

Hi Nancy...

Let me say first...it's sooooo good to see you back here, blogging!!!

I LOVE your new down-sized home. I'm sure everything you do to it, will be just gorgeous! Your kitchen is so warm and inviting...how about I bring tea and scones and we can sit down and discuss what your ideas are for your new home? (I wish it was that easy, hey?)

Please stop by and take a peek at all the changes here. I've changed my Blog Name to Jan Tanis Designs (No longer Rose Haven) and have started down a different path, designing and creating Jewelry and other things.

~Blessings,

Even empty it's beautiful, Nancy! I can't wait to see your stuff in it! We are on the market and looking to downsize, too. I am really looking forward to it as we have rooms right now that we don't even go in anymore! Hoping to go from about 3,500 square feet to about 1,700. A little smaller than yours, but I think it will be good for us.
