It’s About Time!

I know, I know!!!! It’s been a long time!!! Too LONG!!!! But It’s still me….The Southern Lady! I have a new name now….Southern Graces……You will need to change my info in your blog rolls….I know….you hate me for that too…but It was just something I had to do!!!! I’ll explain more about the name change in coming posts! BUT……there’s LOTS of catching up to do… lets get to it!

Yep…this is me and hubby a couple weeks ago….at the new Titanic exhibit in Pigeon Forge, TN. If you haven’t been YOU need to go!!!! This place is amazing!!! NO pictures were allowed to be taken inside….but trust me………..

It took us 3 hours to go through the museum, there is just so much to see and read about….lots of WOW moments!!!!!!! This is a MUST GO!!!!!! Click HERE to learn more about the exhibit.

These are a few of the flowers I’ve been working on this Spring…….

I thought I better show you before I kill them….LOL ;)

I’ve never had one of these before, and it didn’t have a tag with it….I really don’t even know what it’s called…so if you know….leave me a comment.

DSC07877 We’ve had soooo much rain that some of my flowers are starting to turn yellow!

DSC07873 And these things have grown huge this year, along with the weeds!!!

On another NOTE~

MY BABY~ is graduating high school~ sniff sniff!!

DSC07866 BUT…….THANK GOD IT’S OVER AND HE MADE IT!!!!!! NO sad tears here! ;) Oh isn’t he handsome! Looks just like his dad did….back in the day…LOL;)

Told y’all there was lots of catching up to do!!! This is a new bunny…like I needed another one…but I couldn’t resist! She reminds everyone in my home……..

To PRAY!!!! And that’s what I want all y’all to do…Pray, I can keep blogging! I’ve missed you all so much! I’ve come to visit lots of times when you didn’t even know I was there and times when you did. Y’all don’t know what your emails and check ups have meant to me!!! Thank you so much for not giving up on me and for all the concern! I know you all understand how LIFE must come first and blogging must not be a priority, at least for me. Blogging is a great hobby, for me and that’s it! Nothing more…..I’m not here to make money…..I’m not here to show you all great fix ups or re-dos….but all I can offer you is ME! Take it for leave it….but that’s all I’ve got! I can’t promise a post every day or every week, but I will and WANT to do what I can!!!! And please feel free to get the word out about my name change!

I do appreciate every visit and comment! You blogging gals are the best!!!!! Blessings to you all!

Always Your Southern Lady!!!!

P. S. If you have my Southern Lady Button on your blog…you can take it off! It won’t work anymore….a new button will be coming soon!

You and your hubby look AWESOME!!!!

Love the new fresh blog look and name change. Pretty! The flowers are called "Fuscia". I had them last year and loved them but of course they didn't last long for me. LOL! Good luck with yours and your amazing yard. It all looks gorgeous!

Come by when you can. ~Melissa :)

Hi friend!! It's so great to have you back again. :)

Look at you and your husband. You two are so good looking together.

The Titanic sounds neat. Why is it that we are all so attracted to that ship and story?

Congratulations to Aaron! Doesn't it feel good to get them out of high school? Tanner actually graduated Saturday but they have to go until May 28th. He thinks it's extremely unfair. Didn't you say Aaron is going to go to college in Tennessee? Tanner is going to Chicago in August and I've been bawling like a baby about it. Oh well.

I'm glad Melissa told you that your plant is a fuschia. I recognize it but have never had one. Let me know how it does.

I'm sending you hugs! So glad you are back.

Good to see you, girl!!! I've made your change in your blog name on my Blog, if you wouldn't mind, please, make a change in yours for my longer Jan & Tom's Place, but Rose Haven.

What a lovely photo of you and hubby. I totally understand about living your life...and not blogging. I've been MIA quite a bit this last year. (Tom and I have become the proud "mom and dad" of Jasper, Benny and most recently, Rosie...our 3 puppies.) The flowers are fushcia...and very pretty!!

Yea! So glad you are back, I tend to have huge gaps in blogging. Sometimes life just needs more time from me then my laptop does. All your flowers are beautiful and congrats to your handsome som. Where is he going to college? Clollege years are the best although then tend to leave Mom & Dad slightly broke! Ha Ha!

Hi Nancy,
So happy all is well with you and your family. I have had gaps in my posts for the same reasons.
I don't blog for advertising or to make money. It's just a nice outlet and enjoyment when I have the time.
Family is and always will be first and if I have the time I will blog.
Your flowers are very pretty. I thought the flower in question looked like a New Guinea Impatiens. You can look it up on line.
Are you still working at Belks?
Congratulations to your handsome son!
I have also been to the Titanic Museum and it was amazing. Did you get to touch the life size iceberg.
Love your new bunny and what it stands for. We all need more prayer.
Happy Memorial Day!

So glad to see you are back!!! I would love to see the Titanic exhibit! When I was younger it always fascinated me as well as The Loc Ness Monster but that is another story. Love your decor and flowers as well!
