~Kim's Cottage Style Sunroom~

Since most of us have Spring on our minds, I thought I would start with Kim's Cottage Sunroom. Remember Kelly...the Cottage house with a French Twist....well, this is her sister Kim's house! Absolutely Gorgeous! This is a huuuuge house...so it will be coming in several posts! Are y'all ready to see it?! This room just simply says Spring! Love the Green and Yellow together....but wait until you see the RED she added below.....oh, honey!
Doesn't this look like a picture in a magazine?! I bet that sofa is slipped covered! I heart that sofa! I heart the bamboo chair too! Well, I heart the whole room!
Is that bamboo sticks....Kim girl, is this a model home...do you really live here...huh? It's perfect! Gorgeous! Beautiful! The bamboo sticks...very unexpected!
Just looook at this vignette! So Springy!!! I heart the lamp! Yep, the lamp!!!!

I love the RED tea set! So unexpected!

See~ I told y'all she had some RED in this room! Check out the bird house collection!
I'm saying it again...it's like looking at a picture in a magazine! Don't y'all just love it! I love the unexpected things in this room, like the tea set, the bamboo sticks, the bifold shutters in the corner, and of course the REDS! I know, I am teasing y'all with this sunroom! I know you can't wait to see more! So more is coming!

Hey Nancerooni - we've missed you here in blogland! Glad to see this post - personally, I couldn't wait to see it! You're right - just out of a magazine - Southern Living to be exact! Can't wait to see more of this home! Feel better:)) ~Kim

Hi Nancy! This is Kelly (Kim's sister) and the two of us have been out looking at another beautiful home (a showcase home to be exact). We have been out shopping together and enjoying what appears to be the last of the nice days around here for a little while. Our feet are TIRED! We were pleasantly surprised to see you post Kim's sunroom when we got back. Looking forward to reading all the nice comments that everyone sends. Your commentary is always so sweet and animated. We'll continue to check in regularly. Thanks for the posts of our homes. Kim is very excited to be featured this week!

The sun room is perfection. I really like the yellow side table. Any other color wouldn't be as lovely. More rooms please.

A sun room is one of my dreams and this is exactly how I would love mine to be! A white sofa is something I"ve wanted for y ears, I' just avoid it because I allow my dog on my furniture and my family basically has no limits in our home. I wouldnt be afraid to put it in the sun room..slip covers are easy enough to clean. What a beautiful room!

Okay...I have no words...I am just speachless. I truly LOVE this room! I LOVED Kelly's house too and have gone back and looked at that post over and over and I know I will this one too! I am actually painting my french doors black like Kelly's were. Thank you so much for sharing this. Of course, I am now thinking that I am going to go home, get the family and the three cats out of the house....stand back....throw in the dynamite and just start all over from scratch!!!!
Have a great day!

Lou Cinda :)

Dawnie, I too, was afraid to get a white sofa. I have a dog and a long haired cat, but it is very easy to take the seat covers off and throw them in the wash. This is the pottery barn basic sofa and it is soooo comfortable. This is the room I watch t.v. in at night since my hubby and I don't watch the same shows.

Thanks, Kim

I LOVE the room! Is that bead board on the walls? Love bead board too!

I'm partial to the collection of birdhouses probably because I paint birdhouses!

Am looking forward to the next set of pics.

Another beautiful home for us to drool over! Kim does have a great home and I'm pleased she shared with us. It was really fun taking it all in!

Nancy, I'm excited for you signing up for the floral class. Please let me know how it goes, okay??

Do you already do "some" floral arranging? If you really get in to it, I would suggest you purchase a pick machine.
