Yep, I do have something to crow about~ First up~ I wasn't happy with the center piece I had on the kitchen table~ I needed to come up with something that would work for me until Spring arrives. What to do? Shop my house! I had this bird cage sitting on top of the kitchen cabinets.....I had bought it back in the Summer at a yard sale....I grabbed it off the top of the cabinets (I don't want to talk about the dust up there, so don't ask :) I thought about filling it full of fruit...then I remembered that Pig arrangement I had seen at Southern Market...and fell in love with it! You can see that post here, it will be the last picture in the post. I didn't have a pig, nor did I have a enough green moss to line a bowl....so I came up with my own version~ Most all these pictures are clickable!
Something else to crow about~ Y'all remember this piece of fabric I bought a couple weeks ago....I said I was going to make a valance for the kitchen window....well, I did...I think...lol :)
Nothing fancy smancy here...just Fancy Nancy....hee hee! I laid this fabric out on the counter and put this together.
Nothing here but just knowing how to fold and mold the material.....Oh, did I mention this was No~Sew! Fold and tuck and little prayer before I begin!

Clip on the rings~
Ta~Da! But something was still missing~
Better!!!! Told you, I had something to crow about~ The apple tassel I had hanging there just didn't do the trick with this new mistreatment (that's a Nester term) so I plugged in the 20 year old glue gun and threw together a new rooster for moi! I love him! Yes, I said 20 year old glue gun....y'all remember country blue don't you.....that's the color of my glue gun....lol:) I think it's bout time to by a nice new GG in a pretty new color! It started giving me some trouble last night...but I guess I can't complain can I! I bet I won't get 20 years service out of a new one!
Thanks for stopping by today!!!!!!!!! Blessings to you all!!!! Fancy Nancy
