~Our Lives Will Never Be The Same~

Our lives have changed like you wouldn't believe!!!! These two characters below have brought so much fun to our family! Ya'll might as well get use to it...cause you will be seeing them more! I introduced you to Lucy and Hoss a few weeks ago. We found them at the family business....not sure....but it appeared that someone had dropped them off at our dumpster! We took them in and at that time they were approx 8 wks old....now they are 12 weeks old. When we first found them...we took them to the Vet...Lucy weighed 9 lb. and Hoss weighed 10 lb. Welllllll, 4 weeks later...we go back to the Vet for more Shots and Lucy now weighs 20 lbs. Hoss weighs 21.5 lbs.!!!! Between all 4 of us feeding them treats all the time...it's no wonder! Hope you enjoy a few pictures of what's been going on around here lately. I'm not {yet} good at making little stories with them...like some of you gals out there, but maybe one day I will get the hang of it. This picture was just made on Saturday. They had just been to the groomers. We know they have Chow Chow in them....but no one is sure what the other mix is....Husky? Australian Shepard? or Lab? Did you know there is a DNA test you can have done on mix breeds....and it will tell you exactly what breeds are in your dog! It's very $$$$$$ 450.00 per dog!
They both know how to sit and beg for a treat! Maybe thats why they have gained so much weight...lol

Yeap! They are spoiled! They play so hard with each other...then they lay down and sleep for hours! Yes, I had to cover them up! They were in the garage and it was a bit nippy out there! Hoss kept taking his blanket off... :)

Yeap, they have a toy box! There is a lot more in there now....this picture was taken a few weeks ago.
These 2 pics above and below were taken right after we found them, or they found us?????

Isn't she too cute! She has a very sweet spirit except when she is playing with her brother....then the devil come out in her. :)
And this fellow is like a Bull in a China Shop!!!! He is everywhere! If you only knew how many lamps he has ALMOST knocked over.....and how many things he has run into!!! hehe!

But, I wouldn't trade either one of them for anything!!!!! {I had to get this picture while they were begging for a treat.....I think I could squeeze them both!
More to come on Hoss and Lucy!
Exciting News Y'all~ my 100th post is coming up real soon! I will be having a giveaway for the celebration! So, keep watching...it won't be long.
I want to thank everyone for your sweet comments about my Daddy's spice cabinet! Yeap, It is with out a doubt the missing piece that now makes my kitchen complete!
Thank you for all the visits...I love seeing all the new names and I love all you {old names too}hehe!!!! Blessings to you all! Nancy

Nancy,

Can't wait to see more on Lucy and Hoss. They are too cute and I don't know how anyone could abandon animals (but I am partial to dogs). You are lucky you got such good pictures of them, mine don't do so well.

Beautiful...beautiful pups.

I'm totally in love with Hoss and Lucy. You can really see the chow influence in Hoss...my guess the other part is Lab. They are adorable...and I'm so glad they found you! It's obvious they are going to be two very happy dogs!

Nancy:
Your pups are absolutely adorable. I'm sure they are glad they found you. Are you sure your kids didn't PLANT them there for you to find so they'd finally get to have pets?? LOL

Is that carpet on the floor of your garage? Don't the tires on the cars make it dirty? Maybe it's an extra garage, or part of the garage that you don't drive the cars on.

I would guess your pups are part Lab. That's what I see in them. Whatever they are, they are keepers :)

Blessings,

Sher

Hi Nancy,
I have been away from blogging for about 2 weeks, so I am trying to catch up again. I had wondered about how your two new family members were doing ,now I know, they are adorable,I would just love to hug them.
What a wonderful job you did helping with the bedroom makeover. I might be asking for advice soon.

I am glad that you decided not to paint the spice cabinet that your dad made, it is beautiful!!! But more important , there is a secret ingredient in that workmanship, and that is "LOVE".

I have so missed visiting with you. I too have resolved to try and be a better blogger this year.

I want to thank you for all of your kind words and encouragement to me,you are such a blessing.

Blessings,
Sue

P.S. I have added Vanessa to my prayer list.

I hope she is ok...it has to be someones pet and just got out.
Anyway I love animals also and I hope y9ou enjoy them for many years to come...they are adorable...love to see more pics as they grow.

I can definitely see the Chow breed in them. The girl sort of resembles a Lab in the face. So sweet!

Hi Nancy! No stories required they are just adorable to look at!!! I understand exactly what you mean about not being able to paint what your dad made; mine made lots of things too and I can't paint them either (even tho mine would look better!lol) Yours looks adorable on your counter! Oh and btw I think for $450.00 I would be willing to just keep guessing what breed!!!lol Have fun - Sincerely, Jeannette

I don't know how I found your blog...must have been the smell of the puppy breath! You've got a couple of real heart-breakers on your hands. I am so, so happy that you took them in to love and to care for them. God bless you for your compassion and kindness. I see the chow but I think there's a little Labrador or Golden Retriever in there someplace. You are in for the time of your life and you will love each and every minute of it.
