~Tinsel & Treasure & A Giveaway~

Girls, I am so ready for Christmas, well, I am not READY, more like in the mood to Decorate!! This weekend is the 7th Annual Tinsel and Treasure Show here in Knoxville. I have always enjoyed going, and I was not going to let a sinus infection and touch of bronchitis keep me away...LOL I really am feeling a lot better or I would not have went...believe me! This is a long post, but stay with it cause at the end there is a Christmas Giveaway to start the Holiday Season!!!!

These next few pictures came from one booth, and let me tell you it was the best booth at the show, this woman's work was fabulous, however she approached me and ask that I not take any more pictures...I told her why I was taking them, but she said people try to copy her work and she doesn't allow any picture taking....well, I told her I understood and I would not take anymore, but before she said anything, I took several...some of them are blurry and I am so sorry, but I still believe they are viewable. Click on pictures to enlarge.
This is the only wreath I was able to photograph...I wish I could have took more!

Cute eye candy!

This was the cutest set of Trees!!! Sooo Whimsical!
This was an over all view of that booth...Oh, I can't believe it was blurry!!! I wish all of you could have seen it!!! The other side of the booth was more traditional style of Christmas and GORGEOUS!!! If only she would have let me take more photos, I would have put her name and contact info with this post and it could have been some advertising for her....Oh well. This is a part of Carolina Pottery's booth. I have to say, that after that one lady ask me not to take pictures, I was a little afraid to take any pictures of any of the booths! So I tried to be discreet and careful.

Oh, I almost bought this picture frame....Can you read what it says....All because two people fell in Love......Awwww!

This is another picture from Carolina Pottery's booth.

These car mats are on my Christmas List!!! More like Wish List!

Okay, Check out these picture frames....Gorgeous, right? Very Pricey$$$$ too! I loved them, the ribbon that they used was like a silk...just gorgeous!

This is more of those gorgeous frames!!!!

I looked and looked, went back and looked 3 times at this sweater! I might have to go back and get it! I love it! I could wear it with anything, casual or dressy!

This lady had a booth full of gorgeous victorian, vintage looking, but new clothes! I loved them all!!!

Look at this purse!! Don't you want it???? Me too!

What did I buy???? Remember, I have done a lot of shopping and haven't been buying any thing, well, that came to a halt today.....here's what I bought.
I loved this purse...it is wool felt and I had just bought a couple of these kind of pins to wear with sweaters and jackets, on Etsy and Ebay, so when I saw this handbag I had to have it! Isn't it cute???

Have you all seen these tops at shows and flea markets??? They look like a 2 year old could wear them, but they stretch, one size fits all. They will fit size 2 to 22! I had never seen the long sleeve ones, but there was a lady with a booth full of them, of course I bought black. I wear more black then anything. I tried it on before I bought it and liked it. She is local so I might buy a red one for Christmas. They are great to pack for trips too!

Everybody was walking around with these huge initials....I had to have one too It is metal and huge. I plan to change the ribbon to green and hang it on the front door with a Christmas Swag very soon.

Remember the $$$$ picture frames with the gorgeous bows....well.....

On the way home, my brain wheels was turning...LOL

I made one myself! Used the colors I like and I have a drawer full of pins and brooches. I can change out that pin if I want to. Wouldn't it be great if, You had a picture of someone{like a grandmother, aunt or Mom} wearing a brooch in the picture, and you used that same brooch to decorate the frame????? I will be making more of these frames! I fell in love with them....kinda like I fell in love with tassels.....that brings me to.......
The Giveaway~ I wanted to do a giveaway to kick off the Holiday Season, so here you have it. If you would like to win this handmade snowman tassel, by me, then.....Leave me a comment starting today, Saturday Nov 1 through Saturday, Nov 8. Your comment can be left on any of my post. Yep...I was away TOTALLY, from the computer for 2 1/2 days...can you believe it?? LOL!!! That's why I wasn't over to visit.

Your post is beautiful and filled with so much glitter and "pretties".

I'm doing better...but still new bruises are "popping" up on my foot and ankle...and it is still giving me much pain...and swelling, still (2 weeks since being attacked).

Stop back later today...I'll have a post up about what I did for the 2 1/2 days out of touch!!

~Blessings,
Jan
