~Fantasy Of Trees~

Fantasy of Trees in Knoxville is one amazing event that has been held for the last 24 years to raise money for the Children's Hospital. It is always the week of Thanksgiving, and I have been almost every year! It is an event that is full of Gorgeous Trees, floral arrangements, wreaths, and gingerbread houses. It has fun filled activities for children from ornament making to cooking decorating and face painting. I remember taking my boys to this event when they were just little. I still have ornaments, that I hang on my Sentimental Tree, that they made at this event. There is no way I could get all the pictures of this event in one post, but I think I can do it in 2. This will be the first post about the Fantasy of Trees. I hope you enjoy the tour. This is where we begin, they even roll out the Red Carpet for this event. Click on pictures to enlarge and see the details.

Every thing you see from the trees to the decorations is donated by area businesses and individuals. Every item is auctioned or sold. The proceeds go toward the Children's Hospital.

This tree was one of my favorites!!! This picture does not do it justice!

Very cute snowman!!!

This snowman was built right into the tree! Isn't he adorable!

I have to say, I think Red is my favorite Christmas color...I love all things bright for Christmas and I love a little Whimsy too!

Every year they have a different theme for the event... this year it was "There's no business like SNOW business" Penguins and Bears! This Bear was so cute sitting there like he was playing that piano....

There is always a Gingerbread section.

All you can see is Trees!!! Small, Medium and Large ones!!!!

Some areas are set up like little rooms.

I'll leave you with another one of my favorite trees!

Monday you will get a sneak peek at my home for Christmas this year. I am almost finished!!!! Then mid-week I will post the second part of The Fantasy of Trees with floral arrangements, wreaths, and more trees!

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!!!! I had a wonderful day with my family. I am so thankful this year for the way this blog has brought me so many wonderful blogging friendships! I say this a lot, but it needs to be said again....YOU GALS are the best!!!! Some times I laugh, some times I cry....it could be when visiting with you or reading a comment or email that I have received from you! You all will never no, what each of you mean to me. I find it fascinating how everyone of us are different, our styles, our personalities, our homes, but we all seem to blend together!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by today! I appreciate every visit and comment! Blessings to you all! Nancy

Thanks for the beautiful tour Nancy ....the trees were glorious.

I have such ADHD when decorating for Christmas .... I think I love one style then I see another , and change my mind cause I like that too. I've finally decided I liek them all LOL

....will say some prayers for your both you and your Daddy. Both my parents are ailing - cancer and heart and I I know how hard it is.

Hugs and prayers,

I'm new to blog world, but am loving it so far. I've come across your blog and really enjoy it. I love these pictures...the tree's are gorgeous! In my hometown, we also have this event, but this year, they didn't blow me away like they normally do and seeing your pictures makes up for it! Obviously, some very talented people in Knoxville!
Thanks for sharing!

I have fallen behind in visiting my favorite blogs but I have some time today and thought I would go visiting. I was a little sad because I am done with my Christmas shopping and I do love the crowds and the decorations but what do I find but all your beautiful photos of Tree Festival. It was like being back in the busy malls and the lovely little shops. Thank you. Also remembering your Daddy in my prayers.
