~It's A Thrifty Party~

The party has begun over at http://southernhospitality-rhoda.blogspot.com/ Rhoda is hosting a Yard Sale/Thrift Store Favorite Finds Party. It's so hard to narrow it down, but here are a few of the ones I have found over the years. Thanks Rhoda for having such a fun Party. Nancy This is a needlepoint footstool I found at an estate sale several years ago. I paid $10 for this jewel.
Picture frame bought at a sale my DSL had. Paid $1....I love it and of course that's me and DH in both pictures.
These plates all came from different yard sales. Can't remember what I paid, but I am sure it wasn't much.
This little table came from a flea market sale, I bought 2 of them and ended up saling one of them to DSL in one of my yard sales. I think I have too much on it but that's the only place I have to put some of my white collection, need something bigger....need to go to more sales...lol:)

Hope you all enjoyed some of my favorite finds. Now hop on over to Rhoda's at Southern Hospitality and look at her fabulous blog, and join in the party. Hope you all have a great day! Nancy

I am just loving the red transferware plates, and little footstool--darling! I collect brown transferware, although I do love all the colors! There is something so timeless and beautiful about the different patterns. You have a lovely blog, I'm going to have to come back and spend some time here! :)

I love the little table! And all of that white goodness is stunning...I'm starting to feel the need to start a white collection myself so it was good to see yours (to reinforce that I should start one :-).

Just found your beautiful blog today and I'm definitely saving it as a favorite to visit again and again.

Would you do me the kind favor of stopping by for a visit at my place and telling me the name of the paint in your master bedroom. So pretty!

Love the plates, Nancy. I noticed that you have a pic of Paula Dean on your side bar with the mention that you are fond of her. I do too. The first time I saw her I was stunned because she looks and talks and acts like my mother! My mom is a butter/sugar queen of the south too!
