~Dinner Is At 7:00~Don't Be Late Y'all!~

Hi every body, Hope you all are having a great weekend! Just a quick little post of one of our meals. This time of year is the best for cooking (except for the Holidays) all the fresh vegetables are just wonderful. This was Friday night, I told both the boys to be home at 7 for dinner. Alex was there on time, Aaron decided he would go to a friend's house for a cookout. I told him that was okay, I was not upset with him. We have ate many many meals together and will eat many more together. Y'all should have been here!!! It was soooo good. I am pretty much just a southern cook....I don't get very fancy with a menu, my family is very easy to please! Hope you enjoy the meal, almost as much as we did...lol:)
When I bake a potato, I put some olive oil and dill rub on it...It taste so good, I make sure and scrub those taters!!!
I usually buy my olive oil at Marshall's and I always check out there seasoning there. I bought this dill rub at Marshall's, it is delicious! I use it on steaks, roasts, hamburgers and potatoes, it has dill, garlic and onion in it. I am almost out of it, and they don't have it anymore, I will have to make my own, I guess.
I love to chop peppers and onions, grill them in some olive oil and eat them with steak and chicken.....very good!!Always have to have candles burning on the table....Okay, I know it's 100 degrees out side, but I have to have those candles!Fresh corn on the cob. I'm not a fan of grilling corn on the cob, its okay, but I just don't like it black. :)Home made easy rolls my mom use to make these when I was little.....just self rising flour, milk and mayo.....these are the boys favorite and mine too!

There's those Grainger County tomatoes! Wish I could send y'all one!

I want to finish this post with a question and a verse of Scripture. I have something on my heart I need to share with you. Have you ever ask yourself...Why am I here on this earth....Why was I created? Well, let me tell you I have! I know I am here for my family, my husband, my children and I am so blessed to have a wonderful life, but we are here for a more important reason....We are here for Jesus...We were created to Praise Him. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Several of the chapters in Psalms talks about Praise. Ps 95 O come, let us sing unto the Lord, let us make a joyful noise....Ps 96 O sing unto the Lord, bless His name...Ps 100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands....serve the Lord with gladness....Ps.106 Praise Ye the Lord...,but my favorite Ps 98 O sing unto the Lord a new song for He hath done marvellous things!!!! Everything He created was created to Praise Him, the birds sing there songs to Him, the ocean moves to praise Him, the sun rises every morning to praise Him, the moon shines every night to praise Him. In Ps 22 He inhabits the Praise of His People. In the New Testament Paul and Silas sung praises to God. We are over comers through our praise. I will praise Him all my life. He has done so much for me, I love Him, I am not ashamed to Praise Him. If He never blesses me again, I will praise Him! In closing, there is a verse of Scipture that is repeated 2 times in one chapter, how important it must be if it is repeated. Ps 67:3 and 4 states, Let the people praise thee, O God : let all the people praise thee.
