Antiquing on July 4th in Clinton, TN

We spent our July 4th Antiquing in Clinton, TN. We had a great time. Bought a few things, I will post about them later. Wanted to buy alot more, but I know, I can't have everything lol:) It was fun just to look and find some inspiration! Best of all I spent the day with my DH. Nothing I would rather do then that! Hope you all enjoy the trip. Come back again this week, I have some more pics coming. Have a great day everybody. Nancy

Oh, the white column you see, is absolutely beautiful!!!! The pictures don't do it justice. I think I was drooling over it at first sight.lol:) It is huge and heavy, it has a copper top on it, just gorgeous. If I had a place in my kitchen, I would have bought it....It would make a perfect kitchen island. Very French Country!!

I love antiquing! I saw a few things I would love to check out in your post.

I am posting a few pics tomorrow from an antique shop in Birmingham.

I think it is great that you and your hubby both like this!

Hi, Nancy ...

I enjoyed your post about your antiquing trip and loved seeing the pictures of all that GOOD STUFF in those pretty shops. I wish we had shops like that close by.

I sent you an e-mail note letting you know that I gave you an award. You can read about it at "Southern Lagniappe."

Sincerely,
Janie

Nancy, Love your pictures from your antiquing trip! Now this is my kind of way to spend the day! I love the purple flowers, old white stove, and the suitcase painted with chalkboard paint! What a neat idea! Can't wait to see what you brought home! :)

Sound like fun...I am always afraid that I will get burned on antiques. So I don't frequent much. I would love for someone to give me a tutorial on antique negotiating. Any tips.
